About the artist
Nick Grove is a British painter known for his expressive oil paintings of landscapes and figures, created directly from life. Working both outdoors and in the studio, his paintings capture the light, atmosphere, and lived experience of the places he encounters.
Nick is a member of the Royal Society of Marine Artists and the Chelsea Art Society, and his work has been exhibited widely in the UK, including at the Mall Galleries in London. His paintings are held in private collections internationally.
Alongside his own practice, Nick is the founder of the Stamford School of Art, where he teaches drawing and painting from observation.
