Introducing the London Collection
A city, a chapter, a collection.
I’m proud to introduce the London Collection — my first curated series of twelve fine art giclée prints, each one painted directly from life during my time working in our capital city.
This series is both a personal reflection and a quiet celebration — of London itself, and of the country I love for all the opportunities it has given me. Nowhere else have I felt such a vivid mix of intensity, history, and a shared human energy. Nowhere else is there such a powerful sense of diversity, acceptance, and mutual striving — a place where so many come together with a common purpose.
This collection brings together twelve paintings from those years, selected to represent the twelve months of the year. Together they form a visual journey through the city and through the seasons, reflecting the changing light, atmosphere and character of London across the year – a living diary of my time in London — and I hope, by Christmas, to share the full set as a special release, along with a small printed book exploring the story of each painting in depth.
Each print is hand-signed and numbered by the artist, produced using museum-quality archival materials, and released in a strictly limited edition of 100. Includes free postage worldwide.
Created from original oil paintings painted directly from life by Nick Grove RSMA, CAS.

Learning to paint on the streets of London.
Train the Eye. Trust the Hand. Follow the Heart.
I painted at first light and late into the evening. I stayed in inexpensive hotels, drank strong coffee in the mornings, and spent countless hours standing on street corners, bridges and pavements, trying to understand the effects of light, atmosphere and architecture. Along the way I encountered people from every walk of life and, in many ways, found myself on the streets of London.
Even today, every visit reveals new paintings waiting to be found. The city is endlessly fascinating—full of energy, diversity, history and life. For me, it remains the greatest city in the world to paint.
