Evening sun from London Bridge is an original oil painting by Nick Grove.
I realised the painting was incomplete as soon as I got it back in 2024, unsold. This is to say that during the time it was away, I’ve developed overall and can see areas where I could improve the painting. Tempting as it was to repaint the whole picture, I resisted what would have been a wrong move and tweaked just enough to satisfy my ego. Feeling a lot happier with the piece as a whole, the painting will now feature at the Royal Society of Marine Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries in 2024.
