Hazy summer evening on Cromer Beach is an original oil painting by Nick Grove.
, 10x12in,
and ready to hang. Paintings and Suffolk paintings by artist Nick Grove RSMA.
This work begins with direct observation—light, structure, and atmosphere held in balance. Light is the real subject here—its direction, softness, and the way it changes the mood of everything it touches.
There is a particular character to this location—the way edges soften, colours shift, and space opens and closes. Working from life allowed small truths—temperature, colour shifts, and subtle tonal relationships—to steer the decisions.
The hope is that it brings a sense of place into the room—quiet, steady, and real.
