Wet through at Waterloo Place is an original oil painting by Nick Grove.
Rainy day paintings of London with wet pavements and heavy rain paintings. Waterloo place painting by British artist.
This work begins with direct observation—light, structure, and atmosphere held in balance. Water introduces movement and reflection, helping the whole scene breathe and shift as you look.
The subject is ordinary in the best way: familiar architecture and everyday light becoming unexpectedly moving. Brushwork is kept economical so the structure stays readable and the surface remains alive.
It’s a record of being there, made with patience and conviction.
