This work begins with direct observation—light, structure, and atmosphere held in balance. In urban scenes, the challenge is to keep the architecture solid while letting the atmosphere stay open and lived-in.
The aim was to keep it simple: strong shapes, believable light, and the feeling of being present. Working from life allowed small truths—temperature, colour shifts, and subtle tonal relationships—to steer the decisions.
