Southwold Beach and Pier from North Parade, 16x12in, oil on board. Painted from life in June 2024. There are many spots along the promenade at Southwold whereby you can paint the Beach and Pier. None offer a better viewpoint than this one from the top of the public toilets. The elevated view includes everything that makes Southwold a classic British seaside town. From this viewpoint, you can hear the squeals of excitement from below and smell the fish and chips.
