I am very pleased to be taking part in this group show of Venice paintings at Thompson’s Galleries in Aldeburgh. Venice, through the artist’s eyes, is a carefully curated exhibition of artworks that express the very special atmosphere of Venice, arguably the most beautiful city in the world. From the classic and well-loved vistas to the less-known side streets, it is a joy for the eyes and soul. I’ll be in good company too, alongside such esteemed artists as Ken Howard, OBE RA, RBA NEAC, and Peter Wileman, FROI, RSMA, and FRSA, to name a few.

The exhibition runs from August 17th until September 1st, 2024, and is on display at Thompson’s Gallery in Aldeburgh.

Thompsons Galleries

Thompson’s Gallery was established in 1982 in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, by John and Sue Thompson. The gallery expanded in 1991, adding locations in the Cotswolds and the City of London. In 2011, their daughter, Megan Thompson, took over as the sole partner of the business.

Today, Thompson’s Gallery operates three distinguished locations: Aldeburgh, London, and most recently, Harpenden, Hertfordshire, which opened in 2021.

The London and Aldeburgh galleries host up to eleven exhibitions annually, featuring solo and mixed shows, artist spotlights, and the popular annual mixed Scottish Exhibition in Harpenden.

Specialising in contemporary and modern British art from the 20th and 21st centuries, with a particular focus on Scottish colorists, Thompson’s Gallery prides itself on sourcing high-quality original works from the artists they represent.

Our experienced staff is committed to providing a warm and welcoming environment and offers professional art consultations. We invite you to contact us, and we look forward to welcoming you to our gallery.
