I’m extremely pleased to be taking part in The Autumn Picture Show – Thompson’s Galleries Annual Autumn Exhibition which starts later this week at their London Gallery and features their artists latest work. Catalogues are in the post and I’m very excited to receive my copy.
THE AUTUMN PICTURE SHOW
21 September 2022 – 8 October 2022
A new spin on Thompson’s Gallery London’s annual autumn exhibition, this show features a richly varied selection of paintings, drawings, and mixed media artworks by familiar and fresh talents. From Tony de Wolf’s photographic still life paintings, to Matthew Draper’s serene pastel renderings of London at twilight, to Patsy McArthur’s evocative charcoal drawings of swimmers and dancers, there is something for everyone to enjoy. For more information, please contact the gallery.

About Thompson’s Galleries: Established in 1982 in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, by John and Sue Thompson, Thompson’s Gallery is family-owned and specialises in Contemporary & Modern British painting and sculpture. We pride ourselves in putting an informative and friendly face to art dealership, with over four decades of experience, plus, sourcing the best contemporary artists, both established and emerging talents.

In 2011, daughter Megan Thompson took a permanent role in the London gallery, originally situated on New Cavendish Street and now located on Seymour Place, Marylebone. She is now sole partner of the business.

Our third and newest location in Harpenden opened in October 2021 is an extension of our two other established galleries in Aldeburgh, Suffolk and London.

Like our other locations, we exhibit a wide selection of Contemporary and Modern British artworks by our established artists, while also introducing new and emerging talents to the Hertfordshire area, always sourcing original work by the artists we represent.

Thompson’s hold mixed and solo exhibitions across all three galleries annually and are proud to represent some of the finest modern British artists.
