I am delighted to have won the Artists Magazine Award at this years Royal Society of Marine Artists Exhibition.
The award winning painting was ‘Bright Light, Burnham Overy Staithe’, 18x24in, oil on board, and depicts the afternoon light effect at my favourite place to stay over in North Norfolk. The eagle eyed viewer will have spotted my trusty Campervan ‘Uma’ made it into the painting too. This spot is beautiful and if you’re there early in the morning you’ll see some of the locals going for their early morning swim. The sunsets are also beautiful.
The prize is a feature in ‘The Artist’ magazine so look out for it in coming publications.
