Those of you who have been following me a while will know that I’ve endeavoured to develop both my landscape and portrait paintings. So it is particularly pleasing to have two plein-air landscapes and two studio portraits included in the Almenara Art Prize this year.

The Almenara Art Prize is an international online painting competition that offers more than 27000€ in cash awards and other prizes. The Almenara Art Prize encourages international participation in diverse genres, styles, mediums, and substrates, including hyperrealism, photorealism, contemporary realism, surrealism, imaginative realism, impressionism, and plein-air painting.
